POTD#Don’t Know

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! I had one that was typical of being in Wichita Falls, uneventful! I did however have some really good photo ops. Here are two that I would like to share with you all. Of course, there will be many more to come.

Something to make you giggle: On the way back to Houston (boys will be boys!)

From Labordayweekend

Something to make you hungry: My uncle and aunt made me lunch (Brisket Bolio and fixin’s)

Good Morning! Wow, Carolina, I think I could eat with your Aunt and Uncle…that is some good lookin’ stuff! Of course, anything with all those calories looks good right now! ha
Gabe, it is flooding here. We have already had 4″ of rain and they say up to 6″ more in the next 24 hours. The wind was really blowing all during the night…..guess this is our part of the hurricane that hit down south. Chelsea is here with a terrible sore throat….not the strep, but she sure does feel bad. Our plans for the day are to wrap up in a quilt and watch tv………..I really do have a few more things to do than that, but sure I won’t do a whole lot. I might just curl up on the couch myself!haha This is definitely baking weather, but I am trying so hard to put that out of my mind. I thought that a pecan pie baking would sure smell delicious and be a glorious treat for Cap to come home to, but not sure I would stay out of it.haha Have a great day……16 to go!!

See, MBM is an evil woman. Putting pictures of all that nice food up knowing that all I have to eat in this rancid place is yardbird & cauliflower. Mean mean mean.

Susan and Gabe, you are lucky I did not take a picture of the banana pudding that was for dessert! I hate Wichita Falls, but I have always loved my grandma’s kitchen! I have not heard “yardbird” in ages! That made me laugh. Did anyone notice what kind of race my boys are having in the picture above?

Yeow, who won the race? That brought back memories of my son. He used to want to measure the distance if there was no one to race against. HAHAHAHA

Happy Wednesday!!! As of today, I have lost a whopping 30 lbs! Yes, I am excited. Thanks to you, Gabe, and your sister for nagging me about my weight. Dad has lost weight too, just doesn’t keep good track of it. I am thinking of you, Gabe, over there penned-up inside where you can’t run. Hopefully that will be over soon and you can get back on track. Susan and I really aren’t having a race….just so happens that we started at about the same time. We are each others moral support team!!!
